What happens to enterprise software when Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes the primary interface for users? At Dreamforce 2026 in San Francisco, Salesforce demonstrated how the traditional user interface will recede into the background, while organisational context becomes the decisive factor.

Salesfive was there as Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, alongside leading figures from the AI industry including Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, presented the next steps for the Agentic Enterprise. The focus was on new AI interfaces, a dedicated CRM AI model and how organisations can integrate AI into their business processes more easily.

AIforce: Salesforce Context Where Users Work

“AI is creating an interface revolution,” Marc Benioff said, putting the latest developments into context.

With AIforce, Salesforce provides the technological foundation for this. The interface layer makes Salesforce data, processes, business logic and governance available across different AI-powered working environments. Users can access the Salesforce context and take action without having to open the traditional application. Salesforce first introduced AIforce at its TDX developer conference in April 2026, then under the name Headless 360.

How the architecture now enables AI agents to operate independently of the interface was demonstrated by Salesforce at Dreamforce through various solutions: Claudeforce brings Salesforce context directly into Claude, Slackforce integrates Salesforce into Slack, and Agentforce Coworker provides agentic capabilities within the Salesforce environment.

Claudeforce is particularly noteworthy: through its partnership with Anthropic, Salesforce is deliberately opening its platform to an external AI interface that can become the starting point for working with CRM data and processes.

“Salesforce is moving away from a single central user interface for all processes and instead becoming the context layer for AI. Data, processes and actions are available where users mainly work, whether in CRM, Slack or Claude.”

More Dreamforce Highlights: Koa and Preconfigured Agents

Alongside the new interfaces, Salesforce introduced the Koa AI model, which it developed together with NVIDIA. It is specifically designed for CRM tasks and supports AI agents in reliably executing complex business processes. According to Salesforce, it used synthetic rather than real customer data for training.

At the same time, Salesforce is driving the simplified adoption of AI agents. With pre-built and configurable agents for various business areas, organisations can implement them more easily and get started with specific use cases more quickly.

Siemens CEO Roland Busch and Marc Benioff demonstrated what this can look like in practice in their joint keynote. Siemens and Salesforce combine product and engineering expertise from Siemens’ Teamcenter with customer information and business processes in Salesforce. As Busch explained, this provides team members with a virtual engineer who makes product information available directly within sales and service processes.

This example shows how important the right context is when using AI. The more relevant information AI receives, the more effectively it can support team members with their tasks.

Our Conclusion on Dreamforce 2026

Salesforce is advancing its AI strategy. AI is increasingly becoming the gateway to enterprise data and processes. At the same time, the platform is opening up to different working environments and AI models.

This gives organisations additional opportunities to integrate AI into existing business processes and support team members directly in their familiar working environments. Technical deployment becomes simpler. However, selecting suitable use cases and integrating them into existing system landscapes remain essential.

Dreamforce 2026 has shown that the more AI becomes the interface between people and software, the more important its foundations become. Reliable data, integrated processes and clear governance create the conditions for AI agents to deliver more than answers and take on tasks independently and reliably.
