Learning Content
On the first day of the training course, participants will receive a structured overview of the Marketing Cloud Next architecture on the Salesforce Core platform. The differences between the Growth and Advanced versions will be explained, as will the role of Agentforce as an AI co-pilot in everyday campaigning.
This will be followed by an introduction to the fundamentals of Data 360 from a marketer's perspective. Participants will learn about the concept of the unified individual and gain an understanding of the marketing-relevant data model, which includes profiles, engagement data, consent information, and calculated insights such as scoring models.
Building on this, campaign-centred work will be introduced. The campaign object will be presented as the central control instance, including campaign templates, dependencies between assets, segments, flows and reporting, and the use of Agentforce for campaign briefings and setup.
During practical exercises, participants will create their first campaign, work with templates, and independently implement their first campaign structures.
On the second day of training, the focus is on operational implementation within campaigns.
First, the setup of content and branding is covered. Participants configure brand guidelines and voice, and work with the email, form, and landing page builders. They then learn to use merge fields, dynamic content and AI-supported content creation with Agentforce in a practical manner.
Participants then learn how to use the segment builder to create profile- and engagement-based segments while taking consent-aware targeting, segment refresh and schedules into account. Agentforce provides support for segment logic and target group definition.
Building on this, personalisation is then explored in greater depth using data graphs. Participants will use cross-object data for dynamic content and decision logic within campaigns.
Hands-on exercises combine content, segments and personalisation within real campaign scenarios.
On the third day of the training course, the focus is on campaign activation and performance management.
Participants learn how to use Flow as a campaign engine, including segment- and event-triggered flows, typical logic patterns, and best practices for stable automation.
Practical exercises involve setting up a multi-stage campaign flow with waiting times, decision logic and testing and debugging processes.
This is followed by an introduction to campaign reporting, focusing on campaign and email engagement metrics. Participants learn how to interpret results and identify areas for optimisation.
Finally, participants implement the entire campaign process in a comprehensive end-to-end exercise, covering everything from campaign creation and segmentation to content and flow management and reporting, with the consistent use of Agentforce as an AI co-pilot throughout.
The training concludes with a Q&A session and a readiness check.

While a basic understanding of marketing processes and campaign management, as well as initial experience with Salesforce or marketing automation, would be helpful, they are not essential.
To participate successfully, however, you should:

- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Have German language skills at C1 level or English language skills at A2 level or above
