Learning Content
On Day 1, you will receive an introduction to the most important functions of Salesforce for sales.
- You will learn how to organise your sales activities using CRM fundamentals such as leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities.
- Familiarise yourself with the navigation and user interface, including the app launcher, tabs, records and detail views.
- Learn to work more efficiently with searches, filters and list views, including custom columns and sorting.
- You will also learn how to set up personal settings and favourites to access relevant data more quickly.
In the afternoon, the focus will be on clean data for reliable pipeline and reporting results.
- Learn how to create contacts and leads correctly, maintain required fields and update records in a structured manner.
- Use ownership and assignment rules to ensure clear responsibility allocation.
- Avoid duplicates with duplicate rules and learn the best practices for maintaining data hygiene.
In the morning, we will take an in-depth look at the entire lead process – from prioritization to handover.
- Prioritize leads with status maintenance and scoring to create focus.
- Qualify and convert leads cleanly to contact/account/opportunity.
- Handover qualified leads – including notes, next steps, and SLA-compliant follow-up.
- Establish best practices for transparent collaboration between SDR/BDR and sales.
Finally, make your work visible and manageable – right in Salesforce.
- Document calls, emails, to-dos, and appointments in the data record – completely and searchably.
- Create and configure standard reports (filters, groupings, charts) for your KPIs.
- Visualize key figures in dashboards and take advantage of regular updates.
- Derive measures from key figures to ensure continuous sales management.
At the end of this training, you will be able to use Salesforce confidently in your everyday sales activities: you will navigate with ease, maintain master data in a structured manner, prioritize and qualify leads, document activities seamlessly, and create meaningful standard reports and dashboards – for greater transparency, focused follow-ups, and better decisions.

This training course is aimed at beginners and sales staff who want to actively use Salesforce in their everyday work. No prior knowledge is required, as basic computer skills are sufficient. To participate successfully, you should:
- Have access to a PC with an internet connection
- Have basic knowledge of Microsoft Teams
- Have German language skills at C1 level or English language skills at A2 level or above
